Here's my cyq P-38 and my byf 42 Luger Spreewerk cyq P.38 in 9mm Luger with a 4 3/4" barrel, original sights and bakelite grips. WWII P-38 cyq-1 My Dad brought this Walther P38 back from Germany at the end of World War II. The "cyq" marking indicates it was made by Spreewerk in Spandau. The serial number dates it to October, 1943. The grips are reddish-brown phenolic resin filled with rather coarse wood chips and the metal work is a bit rough.
